Albert Frank (Bert) Nesselhuf, Jr., 72, of Manzanola, CO, passed away Wednesday, September 16th, suddenly, at St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center, Pueblo. Albert was born in Rocky Ford, CO on January 22, 1943, a son of the late Gladys Jewel (Barnett) and Albert Frank Nesselhuf, Sr. Bert graduated from Manzanola High School in 1961 and from Otero Junior College. He was the husband of Ellen (Bates) Nesselhuf, they were married on July 28, 1963 in Rocky Ford, CO. He worked as a Farmer and also sold real estate for Ron Wilson and Norm Murphy. Bert was a member of Crowley Community Baptist Church in Ordway, CO and was a longtime board member for High Line Canal. He is survived by his wife Ellen of the home; Son Frank, husband of Jennifer Nesselhuf, of Manzanola, CO; Daughter Jacqueline, wife of Gary Collins, of La Junta, CO; Grandson Cpt. F. Jon Nesselhuf, of Anchorage, AL; Granddaughter Breann Nesselhuf, of Boise, ID; Grandson Levi Collins, of La Junta, CO; Funeral Services will be at the Valley Community Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:30 AM on Monday, September 21st, with Pastor Dave Almanzar officiating.. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO.
