It is with great sadness that the family of Alejandra Rey Fuhrman, 55, of Rocky Ford, announces her passing. She left this earth on September 2nd, 2020 after a hard-fought battle against metastatic breast cancer.

Alejandra was born in Ejido Emilo Carranza Distrito Bravo Chihuahua, Mexico on November 1, 1964, a daughter of Joaquin Medrano Rey and the late Josephine G. (Garza) Rey. She was loved by all who knew her. She spent her last days at home surrounded by family. Ali never stopped fighting, no matter how hard the battle got. She was determined, fearless, and leaned strongly on her faith. Ali was an inspiration of courage, resilience and strength. She was enchanting to be around. Her smile was contagious. Her generosity and kind heart were among just a few of her admirable qualities. ??She will remain a role model to all who knew her, and a hero to her children.

She is survived by: Father Joaquin Medrano Rey of Ordway, CO; Daughter Rosanna Vigil (Abel) Segura), of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Kristian Vigil, of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Joseph Vigil III, of Rocky Ford , CO; Sister Florinda (David) Garcia, of Mesa, AZ; Brother Jacinto Rey, of AZ; Brother Heriberto (Kimberly) Rey, of Pueblo West, CO; Sister Beneda (Tommy Jr.) Ramirez, of Chesapeake, VA; Sister Rosaysela (Darryl) Rey - Kelly, of York, ME; Brother Jose Francisco "Pancho" (Chanelle) Rey, of Ordway, CO.

She is also survived by 7 Grandchildren: Emilee Vigil, Zoe Vigil, Joseph "Flip" Vigil, IV; Abel Segura, Jr., Shylah Segura, Zakary Santiago, Liberty White

Alejandra was preceded in death by her She is preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Rey.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 9th at the Crowley Community Baptist Church, Crowley, CO. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO.
