Alice D. Gallegos of Rocky Ford went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2024 at her home at the age of 78. She was born on December 27, 1945 to Antonio Griego and Laura Vigil in Clayton, NM. In July of 1962 she married her lifetime partner Paul E. Gallegos. She enjoyed visiting family and friends and enjoyed family gatherings. She enjoyed going to eat with her church sisters, and liked watching her gameshows and soap operas, as well as western shows. When not watching her shows she spent a lot of her time doing crossword puzzles and reading her bible. She was a CNA at Pioneer Health Care Center for 27 years. Everyone enjoyed her cooking, her laughter and smile as well as her loving heart. She will dearly be missed by so many people who knew her.

Alice is survived by her 5 children: Paula (Gabino) Lopez of Cactus, TX, Steven Gallegos of Rocky Ford, Laura (Miguel Urquidi) Gallegos of Garden City, KS, Joe Gallegos of Rocky Ford and Anna (Anthony) Martinez of Rocky Ford, grandson Eddie (Tana) Gallegos of Pueblo, granddaughter Serena Gallegos of Rocky Ford. She had 9 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul, her sisters and 1 brother.
