Mrs. Angelina M. (Angie) Marquez, 80, of Rocky Ford passed away Friday, September 21st, 2012 while in the company of family members at her residence. Angie was born in Emplazado, NM on November 7, 1931, the daughter of the late Regino and Lupe (Sandoval) Jaramillo. She was the wife of Louis Marquez. They were married on May 22, 1948 in Rocky Ford, Colorado Angie had worked at Clevenger's Hatchery and in a Sewing Factory. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford,CO. She is survived by her husband Louis of the home; Son Phillip husband of Irene Marquez of Pueblo, CO; Son Teofilo "Danny" Marquez of Rialto, CA; Daughter Gloria wife of Frank Crespin of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Maxine Villegas of Pueblo, CO; Brother Gene husband of Della Jaramillo of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Priscilla Encinias of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Josephine wife of Chris Cordova of Ulysses, KS; Brother Raymond husband of Mary Jaramillo of Sugar City, CO. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Angie was preceded in death by her parents; son: Ruben and 3 brothers. A Rosary will be recited on Friday at 10:30 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM all at the St. Peters Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, CO with Fr. Paul Ekeh officiating. A Visitation will be on Wednesday from 1-5 PM at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO.
