Mr. Arturo Lopez, 65, of Rocky Ford died on Monday, July 20th, 2009 suddenly at his residence. Arturo was born in , Mexico on December 15, 1943, the son of the late Jose and Antonia (Nunez) Lopez. He was the widower of Elva (Bustillos) Lopez. They were married on Feb. 23, 1980 in Ordway, CO. She preceded him in death on Dec. 1, 2006. He retired from Maintenance at Wal-Mart in La Junta, CO., He is survived by: Daughter Martina wife of Santorino Perez of Arkansas City, KS; Daughter Rosa wife of Silverio Osorio of Clovis, NM; Daughter Nancy wife of Jim Meyer of Glenwood Springs, CO; Daughter Sonia wife of Jim Sundeen of Manzanola, CO; Daughter Toni DeHerrera of Manzanola, CO; Son Abel husband of Jerica Lopez of Glenwood Springs, CO; Son Abram husband of Jennifer Lopez of CA; Son Moses Lopez of Rocky Ford, CO. He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren Graveside Services will be at Manzanola Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 24th.
