Aurelio "Al" Ramirez Avila

Mr. Aurelio Ramirez (Al) Avila, 71, of Rocky Ford died on Thursday, August 5th, 2010 peacefully at Pioneer Health Care Center Aurelio was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on December 18, 1938, the son of the late Jesus and Rayo (Ramirez) Avila. He was the widower of Jane Martha (Apodaca) Avila. She preceded him in death on March 26, 2002. He retired from working on oil rigs in Texas. He is survived by: Daughter Lisa (Gilbert) Perez of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Dario (Christina Valerio) Avila of Dumas, TX; Daughter Carla Rivera of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Judy Rivera of Pueblo, CO; Daughter Trisha Rivera of Salt Lake City, UT; Daughter Karen Rivera of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Francis (Adam) Padilla of Alamosa, CO; Son Paul (Lorraine) Rivera of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Patrick Rivera of Alamosa, CO; Special Family Rosie Avila of Rocky Ford, CO; Numerous brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 1 brother. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Memorial Service will be at Westside Bible Church, Rocky Ford, at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 11th, with Pastor Glenn Rumrill officiating. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford. Memorials may be made to First National Bank c/o Lisa Perez 300 N. Main Rocky Ford, CO 81067.
