Barbara Ellen Green, 67, of Ordway, CO, passed away Friday, June 25th, at her residence.

Barbara was born in Cincinnati, OH on September 17, 1953, a daughter of the late Evelyn (Gray) and Vercel Joe Burch.

She was the wife of Richard Lee Green. they were married on May 28, 1977 in Leadville, CO.

Barb's family moved from Ohio to Colorado in 1958 and bought a ranch. She became a trick rider for the Westerneers and a high school athlete in Barrel Racing, Breakaway Roping and Goat Tying. She graduated from Westminster High School in 1972. Later, she owned a ranch in Steamboat Springs and had several race horses, 3 of which became world champions, Chicks Way, Go Easy Step and Treasured Fling being a 3 time champion.

She is survived by: Husband Richard of the home; Son Richard, husband of Crisandra Green, II, of Parker, CO; Sister Burdetta, wife of Dave Walters, of Benklemen, NE; Sister Lorie Burch, of Yampa, CO; Brother Greg Burch, of Culbertson, NE; Grandson Ashden Green, of Parker, CO; Granddaughter Julia Green, of Parker, CO; Granddaughter Kadance Green, of Parker, CO; Grandson Westden Green, of Parker, CO; Grandson Logan Green, of Parker, CO; Grandson Peyton Green, of Parker, CO; Grandson Wyatt Green, of Parker, CO;
