Betty Lou Jensen, age 89, peacefully died in her home, surrounded by her children on May 6, 2024. Betty and her late husband, Gerald Andrew Jensen, built their home while engaged 73 years ago. They raised their seven surviving children there; Kathy Jensen of Pueblo, Jerry Jensen of Fowler, Terry Grooms of La Junta, Dianna Jensen of Grand Junction, Cindy Wilson of Pueblo, June Fellhauer or Grand Junction, and Jinger Buchner of Loveland. Betty is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
Betty and Gerald were co-owners of the Fowler Creamery along with their son Jerry Jensen and his wife Bonnie, it later became known as Jensen's Blue Ribbon Processing. Betty was an active member of The Trinity Lutheran Church in Fowler, she loved Jesus with her whole heart, loved to sew, create videos for her family on her computer, and entertain friends and family.
