Beverly Schwartz

Beverly Lynn (Bev) Schwartz, 62, of Swink, CO, passed away Monday, January 26th, while in the company of family members, at Pioneer Health Care Center, Rocky Ford. Beverly was born in New York City, NY on May 13, 1952, a daughter of the late Beatrice and Martin Moss. Bev graduated from high school in New York City and from college at Bronx Community College. She was the wife of Randy Joe Schwartz, they were married in Alamosa, CO on August 22, 1973. She worked as an Associate at Wal-Mart in La Junta, CO. She is survived by her husband Randy of the home; Daughter Laurel, wife of Brian Benz, of Las Vegas, NV; Son Jeremy Schwartz, of Swink, CO; Sister Renee, wife of Eric Bachrach, of Amherst, MA; Granddaughter Dylan Benz, of Las Vegas, NV. Bev was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial Services will be at the La Junta Senior Citizens Center, 2nd & Raton, La Junta, CO, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 7th.
