Bob Camilo Lucero, 85, of Fowler, CO, passed away Saturday, April 8th, at his ranch. Bob was born in Trinidad, CO on September 17, 1931, a son of the late Celia Henry (Henry) and Ignacio Lucero. He was the widower of Isabelle Juanita (Baca) Lucero, they were married May 22, 1955 in Aguilar, CO. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Avondale, CO. He graduated from Aguilar High School in 1950 and then Trinidad State Junior College in 1958. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a Farmer/Rancher and also worked as a Chief Steward for Amalgamated Meat Packers of North America. He is survived by; Daughter Elizabeth A. Lucero, of Fowler, CO; Son Bob M., husband of Rita Lucero, of Manzanola, CO; Daughter Arlene T. Lucero, of Fowler, CO; Daughter Kim L., wife of Alfred Encinias, of Trinidad, CO; Sister Celia, wife of Louie Gomez, of Pueblo, CO; Son Ken, husband of Lorraine Jaquez, of Denver, CO; Son Matt Lucero, of Fowler, CO; Son Martin E., husband of Shelby Lucero, of Fowler, CO; Son Angelo X. Lucero, of Fowler, CO. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Many Nieces, nephews, cousins, and brother and sister - in- laws. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter, Christine J. Lucero; 3 brothers: Louis, Nash & Lee Lucero; sisters: Tita Gurule, Emma Lujan, Eva Travierso, Mary Mestas - Romero, Bertha Jaquez and Alice Henrietta. Graveside Services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 11th at the Lucero Family Cemetery in Fowler, CO with Pastor Kenny Jaquez officiating. Interment will be in the Lucero Family Cemetery, CO.
