IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brent Daniel
Mcandrews
July 17, 1988 – May 20, 2020
Brent Daniel McAndrews, a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at the age of 31. Brent was born in Denver, Colorado on July 17, 1988.
He lived in the Denver Metro area where he grew up. Working first at the Denver Zoo and then the Butterfly Pavilion, he always found great joy being among animal creatures.
Brent was a kind and gentle person who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He loved those in his life deeply and loyally. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always knew how to make you smile. He had a great group gaming friends who he spent many late hours with playing computer games while chatting, debating, and discussing life. Brent was a Colorado boy through and through. He enjoyed the Avalanche, playing hockey and skateboarding. He LOVED his cars. Del Sols to Subaru's, he always felt most comfortable behind the wheel. One of his favorite things to do was go for a cruise in the mountains. He liked to find a new place to explore, a road that was great to drive, a river that offered a nice spot to pan for gold, or a cave to peek in. After he was done with his drive, he would call a friend or a family member and insist it was time to get some Pho.
Brent is preceded in death by his grandfather, Dan, and his Uncle Mitchell.
He is survived by his father Gene, mother Jackie, Grandmother Gretta. His sister Meghan, and his two nephews who he enjoyed spending time with. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He is survived by: Parents Gene & Jackie of Ordway, CO; Sister Meghan, wife of Alex Green, of Thornton, CO; Nephew Grayson Green, of Thornton, CO; Nephew Hunter Green, of Thornton, CO; Grandmother Gretta McAndrews, of Thornton, CO.
