Mrs. C. Elizabeth Chandler, 93, of Rocky Ford, Thursday, September 9th, 2010 peacefully at Pioneer Health Care Center, Rocky Ford, CO. Elizabeth was born in Nicholasville, Kentucky on January 21, 1917, the daughter of the late Army Scott and Callie Mae (Williams) Sherrow. She was the widow of Harlan Chandler of Cow Creek-Booneville, KY, she is preceded in death by her son Guendol (Bud) Chandler a Marine veteran of Korea, her daughter Pauline Chandler Finn and her daughter Nancy Helen Chandler Page. She was a homemaker , her family was her primary interest. She enjoyed walking, people, basketball and traveling. She spoke often of her trip to Europe. She is survived by: Daughter Patty wife of Thomas Clifford of Rocky Ford, Co.; Daughter Mildred Aultman of Sapulveda, CA; Son Ronald husband of Brenda Chandler of Cambridge, IN; Grandchildren 15 Great-Grandchildren 8 She is preceded in death by her son Guendol (Bud) Chandler a Marine veteran of Korea, her daughter Pauline Chandler Finn and her daughter Nancy Helen Chandler Page and 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Graveside Services will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, in Santa Monica, California, at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, September 15th. There will be no local viewing.
