Mrs. Cecelia Mary Medina, 72, of Rocky Ford passed away Sunday, April 8th, 2012 while in the company of family members at her residence. Cecelia was born in Sugar City, CO on April 5, 1940, the daughter of the late Herman and Phyllis (Gallegos) Villarreal. She attended schools in the Ordway area. She was the widow of Arthur A. Medina, he preceded her in death in 2002. She was a Homemaker and a member of the St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO. Cecelia volunteered for the SAGE program and enjoyed gardening, cooking, spending time with family and her bird. Son Arthur Villarreal of Ordway, CO; Son David husband of Jane Villarreal of Pueblo, CO; Son Robert Medina of Fayetteville, AR; Son Darrin husband of Rita Medina of Rocky Ford, CO; Step Son Rudy Medina of Swink, CO; Step Son Ronnie Medina of Fayetteville, AR; Step Son Eddie husband of Florence Medina of Sacramento, CA; Step Son Gene husband of Carol Medina of Denver, CO; Step Son Kenny husband of Debbie Medina of Denver, CO; Step Daughter Mary Medina of Pueblo, CO; Sister Linda Villarreal of Ordway, CO; Sister Judy wife of Herman Trujillo of La Junta, CO; Sister Lilly wife of Richard Ybarra of Las Animas, CO; Half Sister Mary Reil of Ordway, CO; Half Brother Pete husband of Mary Ramirez of El Paso, TX; She is also survived by Grandchildren: 18; Numerous great-grandchildren Cecelia was preceded in death by her husband: Art; step-son: Richard Medina; step-sister: Jessie Ramirez. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Peter's Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 12th, with Fr. Paul Ekeh officiating. A Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3-5 PM at the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO.
