Cecilia Jaramillo

Cecilia "Nina" Jaramillo, 78, of Rocky Ford, died Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center. Cecilia was born May 25, 1937 in Las Vegas, NM to Jose and Leandra (Martinez) Garcia. She was married to Fred F. Jaramillo, he preceded her in death. Cecilia was a fixture and enjoyed volunteering at St. Peters Catholic Church. Cecilia is survived by: Nephews Robert (Anna) and Victor Garcia; Numerous Great Nieces, Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews that were on her husbands side. Brothers-in-law Mario Castillo, Robert (Shirley) Garcia, Albert Vigil, Ned Hernandez and Steve (Irene) Jaramillo. Sisters-in-law: Merci (Nash) Penastor and Denise (Dennis) Garcia. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister: Petra Castillo; father-in-law: Fred Jaramillo; mother-in-law: Maria Jaramillo; sisters-in-law: Mary Vigil & Priscilla Hernandez. A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will at 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 10, 2016 with a Mass of Christian Burial to at 11:00 AM both at the St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford. Inurnment of the cremains will immediately follow in the Valley View Cemetery in Rocky Ford. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home.
