Christi Lynn (Bond) Hisamoto, 63, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Monday, May 27th, unexpectedly at her residence.

Christi was born in Lubbock, TX on August 18, 1955, a daughter of Noma (Kelly) Watson and the late Wilson V. Bond.

She graduated from Manzanola High School and Lamar Community College.

She married Sam Hisamoto on Aug. 6, 1978, in Manzanola.

Christi enjoyed gardening, cooking, sharing recipes, watching the Colorado Rockies, spending time with friends, and rescuing animals.

She is survived by her husband Sam of Rocky Ford; son Arron of Denver; mother Noma Watson of Rocky Ford; brother Terry (Georgeann) Bond and daughters Brianna and Jessica of Pueblo; stepbrother Calvin Watson of Pueblo; niece Jennifer (Scott) Kunugi of Brighton; niece Kimi (Greg) Broderick and their sons Jacob and Johnathan of Aurora; niece Carrie (Justin) Ramer of Frederick; sister-in-law Barbara (David) Furusho of Fort Lupton; and sister-in-law Tobi Bond and her daughters Jennifer, Heather, Holly, and Jill of Pueblo.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Robert Bond and Jerry Bond.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 8th at First Christian Church in Rocky Ford, CO, with Pastor John Dell officiating. Inurnment of her cremains will be at a later time.
