Christine Zoe (Chris) Mestas, 69, of Pueblo, CO, passed away Monday, July 27th, suddenly, at her residence. Christine was born in Carlton, Australia on February 22, 1946, a daughter of the late Olive Zoe (Burns) and George Ernest Tucker. She graduated from State College High School. She was the wife of Cantalicio "Ken" L. Mestas. They were married on November 20, 2010 in Fowler, CO. Christine served in the U.S. Army as a MSG and retired as a Chemical Expert from the U.S. Army. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fowler, CO 81039. She was a member of the Rocky Ford ELKS lodge #1147, Fraternal Order of the Eagles Lodge 145 of Pueblo, CO lodge #145, American Legion Post 203 of Pueblo, CO. She is survived by her husband, Ken of the home; Son Jamie Nesbit, of Denver, CO; Step Son Kevin, husband of Corrina Mestas, of Pueblo, CO. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and friends. Funeral Services will be at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Fowler, CO, at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 3rd, with Pastor Wayne Josephson officiating. Viewing will be Monday from 9 AM until service time. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment will be in the Ft. Lyon National Cemetery in Las Animas, CO.
