Clyde Osborn Grantham, 91, of Olney Springs, CO, passed away Wednesday, May 15th, at Parkview Medical Center, Pueblo.

Clyde was born in Canon City, CO on August 7, 1927, a son of the late Clara (Osborn) and Elza Hargraves Grantham.

He was the widower of Joan (Auckland) Grantham. they were married on June 1, 1952, in Ordway, CO.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Force.

Clyde was very supportive and attended as many of his granddaughter Amy's horse, school and musical events. He also enjoyed going to 4-H, sporting events and many other events in Crowley County and the Arkansas Valley.

Clyde also enjoyed telling jokes, cooking for others and was well known by many of the kids as "the quarter man", as he would give as many children as he could a quarter, this brought him great joy to see the kids smile. Clyde was a rancher, hard worker and always willing to help others if he could at any time. He will be missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.            Â

Son Glen Grantham, of Olney Springs, CO; Daughter Clara, wife of Burt Knutter, of Cotopaxi, CO; Sister Roberta Woodman, of Washington; Brother Norman Grantham, of La Junta, CO; Sister Mary Martson, of Rocky Ford, CO; Brother Richard, husband of Erma Grantham, of Ordway, CO; Brother Melvin Grantham, of Texas; Granddaughter Amy Wollert, of Georgia.

A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 1st at the Blue Room in Ordway, CO. Inurnment took place prior to the service.
