Conrad Chris Trujillo

Conrad Chris Trujillo, 47, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Monday, November 17th, while in the company of family members, at Evergreen Gardens, La Junta. Conrad was born in Rocky Ford, CO on April 15, 1967, a son of Rose Marie (Gallegos) Trujillo and the late Joe Ignacio Trujillo. He attended schools in Rocky Ford, CO. Conrad worked at the Marriott in Pueblo, Buongiorno Italian Restaurant, Boss Hoggs, CSU Pueblo and many other restaurants in the valley. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO. Conrad was a member of Koshare Indians where he served as the mascot, he loved playing baseball, was an avid Raiders fan, loved fishing, cooking and was very high spirited. He is survived by His mother Rose of Rocky Ford; Brother Troy, husband of Rosie Trujillo, of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Elaine McIntyre, (Dennis Vaughan), of La Junta, CO; Niece Tracey, wife of Cameron Salzbrenner, of La Junta, CO; Nephew Matthew McIntyre, of La Junta, CO; Niece Sydney McIntyre, of La Junta, CO; Niece Mireya Trujillo, of Rocky Ford, CO; Niece Jennifer Tujillo, of Rocky Ford, CO; Numerous Cousins. Conrad was preceded in death by his father: Joe; Grandparents; Julia & Domingo Amparan; Grandparents: Marina & Lorenzo Trujillo; Cousin: Jamie Encinas; Uncle: Lorenzo Trujillo; brother-in-law: Todd McIntyre. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at the St. Peters Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 22nd, with Fr. Paul Ekeh officiating. A Visitation will be on Friday from 3-5 PM at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Inurnment will be private at a later time Valley View Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Arkansas Valley Hospice 531 Lewis La Junta, CO 81050 or St. Peters Catholic Church 1209 Swink Rocky Ford, CO 81067.
