Crossie Aguilera

December 21, 1947 - December 9, 2015

Crossie Aguilera, of McAllen, Texas went to be with the Lord on December 8, 2015 in McAllen, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Charlie Fernandez and Antonia (Barela-Fernandez)Carrillo on December 21, 1947 in La Junta, Colorado. She was 67 years of age. Crossie is survived by her husband ,Jose Horacio Aguilera. Children, Nancy Grano, Alice Solis, Marcus Aguilera, Yvonne Aguilera (Brock Pederson). Grandchildren, Desiree Aguilera, David Solis, Gayle Grano, David Jordan Grano Jr, Ashley Hodge, Imogen Arellano and Everleigh Pederson. Great Grandchildren Zaelah Salas, Taylor Hernandez, Zeyairah Bicklel and Zaniyah and Zyris Perez. She is also survived by Sisters: Esther Fernandez, Sylvia Carrillo and Lupe Barraza. Brothers Johnny Fernandez, Thomas Hernandez and Jesse Carrillo. Step-Father Guadalupe Carrillo as well as Numerous , nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons Hugo Aguilera and Jose H Aguilera Jr, Mother Antonia Carrillo; Father Charlie Fernandez; and sister Charlotte Fernandez. Crossie loved to listen to music, cook and sew. She also enjoyed spending time with family and taking care of her pets. Crossie Aguilera is greatly loved and will be deeply missed. A Rosary Service will be recited at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 15th at St. Peters Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following at 10:30 AM with Fr. Paul Ekeh officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in La Junta, CO. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to www.fordustick.com.
