Delta Louise Abel, 79, of Olney Springs, CO, passed away Wednesday, February 3rd, at Parkview Medical Center, Pueblo.

Delta was born in Des Moines, IA on May 5, 1941, a daughter of the late Lavonna (Joslen) and C. Fulton McMaster.

She was the wife of Jesse Fred Abel, they were married on June 9, 1962 in Denver, CO.

She was a member of Ordway Baptist Church, Ordway, CO.

Louise worked at Colorado State Patrol, Attorney General's Office, Beth Eden Baptist Church, driving the bus when they were in school. She was very active in the wilderness ministry with Beth, she assisted in technical rock climbing, backpack trips and hiking which they did a lot of. She was excellent at clay shooting. She did flowers for weddings while her husband did the photography. Her and her husband moved down to Ordway 21 years ago.

She is survived by: Husband Fred Abel of the home; Son Gary Abel of Lenexa, KS; Sister Carol Cullen, of Denver, CO; Sister - in - Law Pauline (Ivan) Webber, of Dacona, CO.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents; brother: John McMaster.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 12th at Ordway Baptist Church in Ordway, CO with Rev. Don Parker officiating. Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Ordway, CO.
