Daniel Erminio (Dan) Aragon, 82, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Saturday, April 6th, at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center, La Junta.

Daniel was born in Canon Blanco, NM on June 8, 1936, a son of the late Benigna (Castillo) and Silvestre Aragon.

He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO.

He worked for Robert Morrison for many years as a farm hand.

Dan enjoyed traveling to see family, watching old westerns and spending time with his grandchildren.

Granddaughter Breianna Jurado, of Rocky Ford, CO;

Granddaughter Dolores Hernandez, of Denver, CO;

Grandson Aaron Aragon, of Rocky Ford, CO;

Granddaughter Brittany (Jeremy Bethel) Aragon, of Denver, CO;

Grandson Dominic Jurado, of La Junta, CO.

He is also survived by 7 Great-Grandchildren: Gorge & Tristan Venzor; Michael, Andrew, Alexander & Mya Lucero; & Jarae Aragon.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Albertina Aragon; 3 brothers: Joseph, Florencio & Phil Aragon.

A Rosary Service will be held at 10:00 AM with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 AM both on Thursday, April 11th at St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO. Inurnment will be private at a later time.
