David Ralph Mercer, 59, of Fowler, CO, passed away Saturday, January 12th, unexpectedly at his residence.

David was born in Pueblo, CO on February 6, 1959, a son of Gail Eileen (Robbins) and Ralph Vernon Mercer

He graduated from Pueblo County High in 1977.

David married Kellie Lauderdale in 1979; they had a son Aaron, born in 1984.

He worked as a Skilled Machinist in Texas.

David had great appreciation for God's wonderful world. He rejoiced in Colorado's night sky and seeing the geese and the sandhill cranes flyover.

He is survived by; Parents Ralph and Gail Mercer of Fowler; Son Aaron Mercer, of Texas; Brother Kent (Jeannette) Mercer, of Windsor, CO; Sister Duveen Czerwinski, of Westminster, CO; Niece Sarah (Dan) Ryan, of Windsor, CO; Niece Molly Mercer, of Ft. Collins, CO; Nephew Nicholas Czerwinski, of Westminster, CO; Nephew Zach (Lexi) Mercer, of Rio Rancho, NM; Nephew Miles Mercer, of Windsor, CO; Grand-Niece Layla Ryan, of Windsor, CO; Grand-Nephew Blake Ryan, of Windsor, CO; Grand-Nephew Brynson Mercer of Rio Rancho, NM.

David was preceded in death by a sister, Crystal Lea Mercer; brother, Andy Mercer; grandparents Mercer and Robbins; uncles, Kenneth & Wayne Mercer; Dale & Ben Robbins; aunt Martha Mitchell

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 19th at Faith Baptist Church in Fowler, CO with Pastor Stephen Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Fowler Cemetery in Fowler, CO. The family requests donations to the AWANA Program at Faith Baptist Church, 212 2nd Street, Fowler, CO 81039.
