On Monday, September 24, 2012, God reached out and welcomed DeAnn Montini-Moore home with open arms after a battle with cancer. She passed away at Farwell Care and Rehabilitation Center in Farwell, Texas . A celebration of her life will be held Friday, September, 28, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the First Church of God in Pueblo. Interment will take place immediately following at Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford. A memorial service will follow at a later date in Clovis, New Mexico. She was born November 9, 1949 in Lamar, Colorado to Harold and Opal Covey. She graduated from Rocky Ford High School in 1967 and Charis Bible College in 2010. DeAnn's devout devotion to God and her faith was a true inspiration to many people. For the past two years, she had the opportunity to work as a bookkeeper for The Master's Parable Ministry. DeAnn is survived by daughter Marisa Montini of Gilbert, Arizona, and husband Dale Moore of the home, former husband Danny Montini of Cornville, Arizona, sister LaDonna (Charlie)Hutton of Rocky Ford, niece Chi-ann (Keith) Robb of Farwell, Texas, numerous extended family and "adopted" family members. She was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Opal Covey, son Dominic Montini, and nephew Bret Bond. DeAnn will be remembered for her loving kindness, generosity and hospitality to everyone she met. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent in care of DeAnn Montini-Moore to Farwell Care and Rehabilitation Center, PO Box 890, Farwell, Texas, 79325 or Legacy of Love Hospice, 125 East Marshal Howard Boulevard, Littlefield, Texas, 79339.
