Debra Kay (Debbie) Berumen, 52, of Pueblo, CO, passed away Tuesday, September 17th, suddenly, at her residence. . Debra was born in Rocky Ford, CO on October 29, 1960, a daughter of Eliseo Richard Berumen and the late Leonila Helen (Castro) Berumen. She graduated from Rocky Ford High School and received her Associates Degree from CSU Pueblo. She worked as a Correctional Officer for the State of Colorado. She is survived by Her father; Eliseo of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Rebecca Berumen, of Pueblo, CO; Son Andrew Berumen, of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Elizabeth, wife of Gerald Harlan, of Colorado Springs, CO; Sister Dolores Berumen, of Denver, CO; Sister Phyllis Berumen, of La Junta, CO; Sister Cynthia, wife of Richard Graston, of Pueblo, CO; Brother Gerald Berumen, of Rocky Ford, CO; She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by Mother; sister: Priscilla Berumen; nephew: Andrew Berumen and Adam & William Campos Debbie asked that there be a family and friends gathering to Celebrate her Life at the 4-H Building on the Rocky Ford Fairgrounds at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 26, 2013. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be private at a later time in the Valley View Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO.
