Della Jaramillo, 86, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Monday, May 10th, at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center, La Junta.

Della was born in Maxwell, NM on December 31, 1934, a daughter of the late Sophia (Rivera) and Santiago Ernesto Encinias.

She was the widow of Luis Eugene Jaramillo. they were married on July 14, 1952 in Rocky Ford and celebrated over 68 years of marriage before Gene passed away on Aug. 1, 2020..

She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, CO.

Della enjoyed crafts, cards, playing 10,000, going to Cripple Creek, El Santuario de Chimayo Church; spending time with family especially great-granddaughter: Taylea

She is survived by: Daughter Cathy (Joey) Lara, of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Sandy Gallegos, of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Donna (Daniel) Baca, of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Connie (Jimmy) Garcia, of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Rita (Darrin) Medina, of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Nancy (Jack Barker) Andrews, of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Randy (Jennifer Duran) Jaramillo, of Ordway, CO; Daughter Hazel (Robert) Martinez, of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Edward (Sandra Burciago) Jaramillo, of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Roy Jaramillo, Jr., of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Steve Jaramillo, of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Hazel Roybal, of Las Vegas, NM; Sister Gloria Mendez, of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Dorothy (Jesus) Navarette, of Ft. Morgan, CO.

She is also survived by Grandchildren: 30; Numerous Great - Grandchildren and Great - Great Grandchildren.

Della was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Gene; sons: Roy & Henry Jaramillo; grandson: Domingo Jaramillo; son - in - law: Gilbert Gallegos; brother: Fred Encinias; 3 sisters: Lola Aragon, Duby Aragon, Celia Varela

There will be a viewing held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, May 17th at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford, CO. A Rosary Service will be held 9:30 AM with A Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 18th at St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO with Fr. Soosai officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO.
