Mrs. Delores Monesmith, 74, of Rocky Ford died on Friday, July 24th, 2009 while in the company of family members at the Pioneer Health Care Center Delores was born in Rocky Ford, CO on February 21, 1935, the daughter of the late Odas and Lena Florence (Ulery) Hayes. She was the widow of Tom Monesmith. They were married on August 26, 1966 in Carson City, NV. He preceded her in death on December 12, 2008. She worked as a Caregiver/CNA. She attended church regularly. She is survived by: Daughter Billie (Paul Volkmann) Elmes of Wenatchee, WA; Daughter Florence (Harry) Churchill of Demorest, GA; Daughter Terri Monesmith of Hailey, ID; Son Jim Breshears of Hailey, ID; Sister Marcella McClendon of Rocky Ford, CO; Brother Odas (Florence) Hayes, Jr. of Texas; Step Daughter Tina Sachenmier of Snohomish, WA; Step Daughter Pamela Profitt of Wenatchee, WA; Step Son Joseph Monesmith of Wenatchee, WA. She is also survived by Numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother: Dean Hayes A Memorial Service will be at the Nazarene Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 28th, with Gail Allen officiating. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will private at a later time Evergreen Cemetery East Wenatchee, WA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ford-Ustick Funeral Home.
