Miss Devonna Griffin, 17, of Rocky Ford died Friday, November 7th, 2008 tragically in a train car accident at Cnty Rd. 20.5 in Rocky Ford, CO. Devonna was born in La Junta, CO on August 29, 1991, the daughter of the late Robert and Joan Fayette (Lusk) Griffin. She was being home schooled and was working on her degree in Art. She worked for the Rocky Ford Daily Gazette in Rocky Ford, CO 81067. She is survived by: Sister Brinda Goodwin of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Grace wife of Roland McGuire of Bon Carbo, CO; Brother Ray husband of Stenette Randall of Ordway, CO; Memorial Services will be at the First United Methodist Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:30 AM on Thursday, November 13th, with Rev. Olga Hard officiating. Friends are invited to call on Wednesday, November 12th from 1 - 6 PM at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at a later time in the Hillcrest Cemetery of Rocky Ford, CO. Family request donations to The Family to help with expenses.
