Mr. Dick Leroy Paugh, 86, of Manzanola passed away on Thursday, May 30th, 2013 peacefully at his residence. Dick was born in Karval, CO on February 26, 1927, the son of the late Peter J. and Mary (Jones) Paugh. He attended school in Manzanola. He was the widower of Joyce Darlene (Hannebaum) Paugh. They were married on Nov. 18, 1950 in Raton, NM. She preceded him in death on October 15, 2009. Dick served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He worked as a Truck Driver at Wright Motor Lines Rocky Ford, CO. He also farmed, worked at the school system, was a carpenter and was a fire chief for the volunteer fire department in Manzanola. He is survived by; Son Rick husband of Gwen Paugh of Thornton, CO; Son Doug Paugh of Manzanola, CO; Son Steve Paugh of Denver, CO; Son Rod Paugh of Manzanola, CO; Brother John husband of Jody Paugh of Fountain, CO; Sister Lola Coffee of Rocky Ford, CO; Other survivors are Sister-in-law Judy Miller of La Junta; Sister-in-law Sharon Grasmick and husband Ronnie of Rocky Ford, CO; Brother-in-law Jim Hannebaum of Rocky Ford, CO. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren Dick was preceded in death by his parents; wife; 5 brothers and 3 sisters, father in-law Leonard Hannebaum Sr. & mother in-law Irma Hannebaum of Rocky Ford, Brother in-law Leonard Hannebaum Jr. of Golden, CO, Sister in-law Selma Bolling of Cocoa, FL, brother-in-law Bill Miller of La Junta, CO A Celebration of Life Reception will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 2-4 PM at the Manzanola Elementary School Cafeteria. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be in the Manzanola Cemetery, Manzanola, CO. Memorials may be made to Sangre De Cristo Hospice 601 Greenwood Avenue Canon City, CO 81212. The family would like to make a special thank you to Sangre De Cristo Hospice and especially Jeannie.
