Dolores (Lolie) Bustamante, 91, of Manzanola, CO, passed away Saturday, August 24th, at Sangre De Cristo Hospice House, Pueblo.

Dolores was born in Wagon Mound, NM on May 16, 1928, a daughter of the late Eufilia (Bueno) and Benito Apodaca.

She was the widow of Desiderio Fidel Bustamante.

She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Ordway, CO.

She enjoyed sewing crocheting and embroidering. She loved working in her garden often using her produce to can for her family. She was well known in the community for her volunteer work in the church, she was very dedicated to her faith and her beliefs. She was well know in the community for her green chili, her homemade pies and her tamales. Dolores was very dedicated to her friends, her children and her grand-children often spending the winter months making quilts for her grandchildren and anyone who entered her home never left hungry

She is survived by: Daughter Bernice Trujillo, of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Hope Gallegos, of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Lawrence (Delores) Bustamante, of Garden City, KS; Daughter Adeline Zamora (Bobby Chavez), of Manzanola, CO; Sister Helen Vasquez, of Garden City, KS; Sister Viola Apodaca, of Rocky Ford, CO.

She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-great-grandchildren.

Lolie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 3 sons: Fred Apodaca, Larry Bustamante; Frank Bustamante.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 28th at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford, CO.

A Rosary Service will be held 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 29th, 2019 with A Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 29th both at St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO with Fr. Paul Ekeh officiating. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery, Manzanola, CO.
