Doris M. Mason of Rocky Ford passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at her home at the age of 96. Doris was born in Yoder to Orville and Ada Cochran. She married Albert Mason in Raton, New Mexico in 1942. Doris and Albert traveled all over the country enjoying camping and fishing. Doris loved to garden and grew beautiful flowers. She also loved to cook, bake, sew and crochet. Doris loved her family and friends, she liked the family gatherings, going to coffee with her friends, spending time with her children and grandchildren. Doris loved life and will be dearly missed.

Doris is survived by her 3 children: Gerald Mason, Brenda Lieurance, Marvin (Laurie) Mason all of Rocky Ford, 5 grandchildren: Tina (Vince) Fraker, Sheryl (Andi) Nickolson, Stephen (Lucille) Houston, Kyle Mason, Aubrey (Alfonso) Apodaca, 15 great-grandchildren, 1 sister: Betty (Melvin) Vaught. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Mason, son Larry Mason, brother Winford Cochran, parents Orville & Ada Cochran.
