Dorothy May Massingill of Colorado Springs, formerly of Ordway passed away on Sunday, October 23rd in Colorado Springs. Dorothy was born in Ellsworth, KS to Frank and Rose Truhlar. She married her husband Ken Massingill and they started a family. In the mid 60's they moved their family to Ordway where they lived. Dorothy loved to garden and took great pride in her flowers. She also enjoyed to crochet, especially baby blankets. She read every day and was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Ordway, until she moved to Colorado Springs. She was the president of the Senior Center in Ordway for 15 years.

Dorothy is survived by her 2 children: Tammy & Mark Medina of Colorado Springs, Doug Massingill of Colorado Springs, 2 granddaughters: Breanne Taylor of Denver & Alexis Medina of Greeley. She was preceded in death by her husband Ken Massingill.
