Dorothy Ann Paugh, 89, of Manzanola, CO, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 31st, 2019 surround by her loving family.
Dorothy was born in Rocky Ford, CO on June 12, 1930, daughter of the late Edwin & Leona (Breitenfeld) Kassebaum.
Dorothy graduated from Rocky Ford High School in 1948. After high school she met and married her husband Herb with whom she was married to for over 53 years.
She was the Bookkeeper/Secretary at the Farmers COOP in Manzanola for over 30 years, as well as the Secretary/Treasurer for the Valley Water Company until the age of 85. She was an avid sports fan who especially enjoyed attending her grand kids and great - grand kids numerous sporting events. Grandma Paugh was always the biggest fan and encourager in the stands. Her greatest joy was her family and their time spent together. Above all she was a faithful and joyful servant of the Lord!
She attended the Solid Rock Baptist Church in Fowler.
She is survived by; Daughter Jeanne (Gary) Bates, of Manzanola, CO; Daughter Vicki Herdt, of Thornton, CO; She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren: Tim (Michele) Bates, Becky Hershey, Mary (Justin) Osborne, Jason (Hanna) Bates, Cindy (Cory) Kreft, Scott (Kassie) Herdt, Steve Herdt, Kimberly (Brandon) Briggs, Krystal (Jimmy) Arellano, Kurt (Ashley) Paugh; 17 Great-Grandchildren: Tate (Jessica) Hershey, Ty Hershey, Jayden, Taylor, Gracie Osborne, Madison Bates, Jordan & Jaslyn Bates, Kenzie, Ashtyn & Baby Kreft, Scarlett Herdt, Duncan & Brianne Habinck, Ashleigh & Megan Briggs, Ryleigh Paugh; 2 brothers: Harry (Robbie) Kassebaum, Bobby (Shirley) Kassebaum; sister - in-laws: Judy Paugh and Jody Paugh; Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Herbert; son: Howard E. Paugh, son-in-law: Rob Herdt; brother: Harvey Kassebaum.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 6th at Corner Stone Country Church in Rocky Ford, CO with BJ Ballard officiating. Inurnment will be private at a later time. The family requests donations to Arkansas Valley Hospice, 531 Lewis La Junta, CO 81050.
