Mr. Eddie "Lalo" Joe Tenorio, Sr., 57, of Rocky Ford died Tuesday, June 1st, 2010 while in the company of family members at Memorial Health System, Colorado Springs, CO. Eddie was born in Las Vegas, NM on November 28, 1952, the son of the late Jose Abran and Maria Dora (Lucero) Tenorio. He attended school in the Rocky Ford area. He was the husband of Julie (Norris) Tenorio. They were married on May 29, 1976 in LaJunta, CO. She survives of the home. He worked in Maintenance at the Colorado Boys Ranch in LaJunta, where he worked for over 30 years. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church Rocky Ford, CO 81067. He is survived by his wife, Julie of the home; Son Eddie Tenorio, Jr. husband of Erica Hernandez of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Jeremy Tenorio of Rocky Ford, CO; Brother Lito husband of Ardena Tenorio of Rocky Ford, CO; Brother Jose husband of Isabel Tenorio, Jr. of LaJunta, CO; Sister Maria wife of Danny Garcia of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Janice wife of Larry Rodriguez of Denver, CO; Grandson Dimitrius Tenorio of Rocky Ford, CO; Granddaughter Persephone Tenorio of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister-in-law Elva Tenorio of Rocky Ford, CO He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Domingo Tenorio A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Peters Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 7th, with Fr. Don Malin officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 8:30 AM until service time at St. Peters Catholic Church. A Rosary Service will be recited at 9:30 AM on Monday at St. Peters Catholic Church. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford.
