Edward "Ed" E. Lee

Edward Earl (Ed) Lee, 84, of La Junta, CO, passed away Tuesday, February 21st, at Fowler Health Care Center, Fowler, CO. Edward was born in Westbrook, TX on April 28, 1932, a son of the late Ada May (Middleton) and Albert Lee. He was the husband of Patsy Joyce (Vinson) Lee, they were married on Sept. 1, 1951 in Tuxedo, TX. He graduated high school from Stamford High School and Life Bible College in Los Angeles, CA. Ed was a pastor for Foursquare Church from 1960 until 1974 and then started the Lighthouse Church in Rocky Ford from 1975 until 2001. He worked as a Master Carpenter in the Arkansas Valley for many years. He is survived by his wife Patsy of the home; Daughter Janice, wife of Jim Moreno, of La Junta, CO; Daughter Janie, wife of Ed Sherman, of Colorado Springs, CO; Daughter Cindy, wife of Paul Hammerling, of Colorado Springs, CO; Son Joseph, husband of Gail Lee, of La Junta, CO; Brother Tom, husband of Sue Lee, of Anson, TX; Brother David Lee, of Hawley, TX; Brother Richard "Bud" Lee, of Abilene, TX. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson He was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Christine Lee; brother: Doyle Lee A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 28th at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford, CO with Pastor Joseph Lee officiating. Inurnment will be private at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association 2315 Bott Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80904-3727.
