Eileen Estrada passed away unexpectedly on December 8, at the age of 71 in the comfort of her own home. She enjoyed outings with friends and family, talking to friends and family on the phone, praying, embroidering, playing solitaire and doing crossword puzzles, watching telenovelas, going shopping, and cooking for her family and especially making fudge.

She is survived by her son Victor (Amber) Estrada of Manzanola, siblings Georgia (Andrew) Ornelas of Manzanola, Rosella (Lenard) Valdez of La Junta, Ronnie (Carol) Estrada of Denver, and Mike Estrada of Denver, Flora Valdez of Rocky Ford, Amada Aparicio of Rocky Ford, granddaughter Mya Zamora-Estrada of Manzanola, and niece Aubri (Andrew) Estrada of Pueblo, and many other nieces and nephews.

Eileen is joined in Heaven by daughter Bertha Estrada, parents Joe and Clemencia Estrada, siblings Ida Madrid, brother-in-law Esteban Madrid, Tally Valdez, and nephew JoJo Estrada
