Elaine Charlene Bolling, 66, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Wednesday, June 4th, while in the company of family members, at Sangre De Cristo Hospice House, Pueblo. Elaine was born in Rocky Ford, CO on October 28, 1947, a daughter of the late Miriam (Johannes) and David Ring. Elaine graduated from Rocky Ford High School in 1965. She was the widow of Lindsay Wells Bolling they were married on January 2, 1965 in Rocky Ford, CO. She worked as a Bookkeeper at Eureka Water Company Rocky Ford, CO and was part-owner of the Miriams Cake Shop. She was a member of Community Presbyterian Church Rocky Ford, CO. Elaine was Volunteer of the Year for Rocky Ford in 2002, past member of the Rocky Ford Museum Board, volunteered at the Carriage House, Founding Member of the Arkansas Valley Balloon Festival, member of the Rocky Ford Firefighters Association serving as the Secretary/Treasurer, assisted with the restoration of the Memorial Bridge, volunteered for the Youth Sports Program Fund, assisted with the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Moving Wall, also helped in the Community Carousel, Mill Iron Wranglers and the Rocky Ford Rocketts. She is survived by; Daughter Kryste, wife of Lisa Karban-Finch, of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Karin "Kebby", wife of Marc Parker, of Pueblo, CO; Brother John, husband of Kit Ring, of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Janet, wife of Ed Trainer, of Thornton, CO. Special Friend Frances Roberson of Rocky Ford, CO; Son-in-Law David Stengel; She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; Hannah Stengel, Bryce Karban, Austin Stengel, Wesley Karban, Aiden Stengel, McKenna Parker, Madison Parker, Chance Finch; great-grandchildren: Hunter Crump & Leland Blea. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Gwendolyn Stengel; son: Jamie Bolling; brother: Larry Ring. Funeral Services will be at the Community Presbyterian Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 10th, with Rev. Steve Culver officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 3-5 PM at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO.
