Elizabeth (Liz) Hammond, 71, of La Junta, CO, passed away on Thursday, July 5th, at her residence. Elizabeth was born in Scotland, UK on September 4, 1946, a daughter of the late Dorothy (Green) and Francis Weir. She was the widow of Lawrence T. Hammond. She worked as a Secretary at Ernest & Young, LLC in California. Elizabeth is survived by: a sister, Fran, wife of Robert Torgler, of Yuma, AZ. Liz was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Larry Hammond in 2003.
