Mrs. Elva Sandoval, 72, of Rocky Ford died on Sunday, December 2nd, 2012 peacefully at St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center, Pueblo, Pueblo County, CO. Elva was born in Chama, CO on February 6, 1940, the daughter of the late Patricio and Rufina Jenny (Valencia) Torres. She was the widow of Manuel Sandoval. Elva retired as a Domestic Engineer She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO. She is survived by: Sister Florence Lucero of Walsenburg, CO; Sister Marvine Vigil of Pueblo, CO; Sister Eliria Corral of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Diana wife of Johnnie Minjarez of Weldona, CO; She raised nephew's Ruben Corral and Dominique Corral both of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister-in-Law: Bertha Torres; Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Archie A Memorial Service will be at the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 7th. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ford-Ustick Funeral Home.
