Mrs. Erma Jaramillo, 81, of Rocky Ford died on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011 at Pioneer Health Care Center. Erma was born in Tobe, CO on August 25, 1929, the daughter of the late Elfido and Aurelia (Sanchez) Sandoval. She was the widow of Elias Jaramillo. They were married on March 23, 1955. He preceded her in death on May 15, 1991. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO. She is survived by; Son Jose M. husband of Rosie Jaramillo of Pueblo, CO; Son Tomas Jaramillo of Denver, CO; Son Steve husband of Donna Jaramillo of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Roger Jaramillo of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Maryann V. wife of Robert Cordova of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Sandra wife of Steven Estrada of Big Springs, NE; Daughter Sylvia Moreno of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter Gloria Romero of Syracuse, KS; Daughter Margaret Jaramillo wife of Francisco Campos of Comfort, TX; Daughter Edna Jaramillo wife of Victor Robles of Pueblo, CO; Sister Josie Jaramillo of Rocky Ford, CO; Daughter-in-law Debra Jaramillo of Rocky Ford, CO; She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband; daughter: Luciana Jaramillo; son: Johnnie Jaramillo; granddaughter: Annette Bamber; grandson: Ricardo Romero; great-grandson: Nathan Jimenez; 2 sisters: Annie Hernandez & Sara Olguin; brother: Desideo Sandoval. A Vigil Service will be recited at 6 PM on Sunday at St. Peters Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Peters Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 7th, with Fr. Don Malin officiating. Visitation will be Sunday 3-4:30 PM. at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery Rocky Ford, CO. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home.
