Mr. Ernest Louise Apodaca, 78, of Rocky Ford. Sunday, August 10th, 2008 while in the company of family members at Pioneer Health Care Center. Ernest was born in Wagon Mound, NM on March 9, 1930, the son of the late Benito and Eufelia (Bueno) Apodaca. He was the widower of Mary Julie (Montoya) Apodaca. They were married on May 16, 1949 in Rocky Ford. She preceded him in death on April 28, 1992 . He is survived by and children: . Casketbearers: Paul Trujillo, Simon Apodaca, Alphonso Gonzales, Phillip Encinias, David Encinias & Benito Apodaca II Honorary Casketbearers: Frank Vigil, Elway Encinias, Anthony Apodaca, Ernest Apodaca III, Julio Gonzales, David Garland, Alfonso Apodaca, James Saulman A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Peters Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 14th, with Fr. Jude Egbune officiating. Friends are invited to call Wednesday 2 - 5 PM. at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home, LLC . Friends are also invited to call 6-8 PM at the St. Peters Catholic Church with a Rosary Service to be recited at 7:00 PM in the St. Peters Catholic Church. Interment at Valley View Cemetery Rocky Ford, CO. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home.
