Faye Adela Lucero, 81, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Saturday, November 20th, at UCHealth Poudre Valley, Ft. Collins.

Faye was born in Tucumcari, NM on November 18, 1940, a daughter of the late Virginia (Romero) and Mike Aaron Griego.

She was the widow of Victor F. Lucero, they were married on November 25, 1989 in Westminster, CO.

She was a member of Family Worship Center Rocky Ford, CO.

Faye worked as a Dietician at Clare Creek Nursing Home and also worked at various restaurants.

She is survived by:

Son Raymond Gonzales, of Colorado Springs, CO; Son Alfred, (Linda) Gonzales, of Fowler, CO; Son Joseph, (Nancy Aragon) Gonzales, of Colorado Springs, CO; Sister Dolores Reed, of Tucumcari, NM; Brother George Griego, of Portales, NM; Brother Felix Griego, of Portales, NM.

She is also survived by Grandchildren: Ray Jr., Zachary & Alyssa Gonzales, Michele Aguilar, Alfred Jr., Melanie, Eli, & Travis Gonzales, Brandon Martinez, Jacqueline & Jessica Gonzales, Zach Freeman; Great-Grandchildren: Emilio, Anthony, Isaiha, Isabella, Isaac, Adrian, Zaylee, Caydn, Anthony, Yessenia, Mariela, Nessa and Sandra; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Preceded in death by a son: Toby Gonzales; sister: Julia Sandoval; 4 brothers: Manuel, Robert, Moses & Phillip Griego.

There will be a viewing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, December 2nd at Ford - Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford, CO. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 3rd at Family Worship Center in Rocky Ford, CO with Pastor Frank Turja officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO.
