Fedelina "Lena" Maes of Rocky Ford passed away in Fowler at the age of 84. Lena was born in New Mexico to Cresencio and Romanita Martinez. Lena enjoyed watching western movies, reading and playing solitaire. She was a longtime member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Rocky Ford. Lena also enjoyed watching football and really liked Kurt Warner and that team in St. Louis that he played for.

Lena is survived by her 4 children: Pinky Montoya of Rocky ford, Alfred (BobbieJo) Esquibel, Jr. of Lamar, Chris (Linda) Esquibel of Pueblo and Charles Maes of Rocky Ford, 5 grandchildren: Holli (Cuco), Ryan (Trinity), Joshua, Shania and Crystal, 6 great-grandchildren: Deuce, Alekzander, Ezekiel, Zachariah, Hezekiah and Azaliah. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Maes in 2008.
