Floyd Joseph Martinez, 82, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Monday, May 4th, at Pioneer Health Care Center.

Floyd was born in San Francisco, CO on April 11, 1938, a son of the late Maximilana (Espinoza) and Fares Martinez.

He had worked at CU Boulder and for the City of Denver.

He is survived by: Son Randy Martinez, of Greeley, CO; Son Dickie Martinez, of Miami, FL; Daughter Joyce, of Queens, NY; Son Floyd Martinez, of Denver, CO; Sister Cecilia Gonzales, of Cheyenne, WY; Brother Juan Martinez, of Pueblo, CO; Brother Max (Dolores) Martinez, of Pueblo, CO; Niece Lilian Medina, of Manzanola, CO; Niece Sylvia (Jose) Cardenas, of Longmont, CO; Nephew Felix (Renetta) Reyes, of Manzanola, CO.

He is also survived by Numerous Great - Nieces and Nephews.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Delfino Martinez, Albert Martinez, Ebert Martinez; sisters: Mabel Reyes, Mary Vasquez, Betty Martinez

Graveside Services were held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Manzanola, CO with Pastor Daryl Johnson officiating. Interment was in the Mountain View Cemetery, Manzanola, CO.
