Frances Vasquez of Rocky Ford passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025 in Pueblo at the age of 70. Frances was born in Newdale to Emilio and Precilla Encinias. Frances grew up in Rocky Ford and married Fidel Vasquez on April 10, 1973 and started their family. Frances was always helping others and putting everyone else's needs before her own. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, camping, fishing and cruising around town, she liked going to the parks and getting her Diet Pepsi at Sonic. Frances would also watch her cowboy movies, keep up with her novellas and watch General Hospital.

Frances is survived by her husband of 51 years Fidel Vasquez, 4 children: Angelia Vasquez, Gilbert Vasquez, Noe Vasquez, Lolo Vasquez, 6 grandchildren: MaKayla Ascencio, Emilio Maes, Alexandria Vasquez, 3 sisters: Theresa Encinias, Dora (Manuel) Vasquez, Rebecca Encinias. She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws: Romolo Rey, Guadalupe Vasquez, 1 brother: Richard Encinias, 3 sisters: Elva Tenorio, Viola Bustos, Dolores Encinias, 2 nephews, 2 nieces, 2 dogs: Mariposa & Pony.
