Frank Joe (Lippy) Aragon, 62, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Friday, January 11th, while in the company of family, at his residence.

Frank was born in La Junta, CO on December 1, 1956, a son of the late Lola (Encinias) and Joe Narciso Aragon.

He was a member of Rocky Ford Church of the Nazarene in Rocky Ford, CO.

Frank truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; chatting with his friends and family whether it be at home or in town, snacking on his favorite foods,&playing pool. Frank had the ability to reach people by his positive attitude. You would often see Frank in town walking with his head held high and his coffee or soda in his hand. He volunteered at his local food banks, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be truly missed.

He is survived by: Aunt Gloria "Ida" Mendez, of Rocky Ford, CO; Sister Carrie (Mario) Rodriguez, of Pueblo, CO; Brother Robert (Pancha) Aragon, of Olney Springs, CO; Sister Eva Aragon of Soddy Daisy, Tennesse; Sister Viola Aragon, of Pueblo, CO; Cousin Ralph Mendez, of Rocky Ford, CO; Cousin Lola (Jose Garcia) Mendez, of Rocky Ford, CO; Cousin Lucy (Jamie) Santos, of Greeley, CO; Half-Sister: Elizabeth Aragon of Pueblo, CO; Half-Brother Richard Aragon of Fowler, CO; Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins;

Frank was preceded in death by his parents: Lola & Joe Aragon; brother: David Aragon; grandparents: Sophia & Santiago Encinias; Tobias & Eva Aragon; uncle: Lorenzo Lechuga

Public Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Tuesday, January 15th at Ford - Ustick Funeral Home in Rocky Ford, CO. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 18th at Rocky Ford Church of the Nazarene in Rocky Ford, CO with Pastor Paul Ferrell officiating. Inurnment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO.
