Freda Ann Patterson

Mrs. Freda Ann Patterson, 64, of Rocky Ford died Wednesday, August 27th, 2008 suddenly at the Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center, La Junta, CO. Freda was born in Denver, CO on November 23, 1943, the daughter of the late Fred Franklin and Annabelle M. (Earl) Barnett. She graduated from Las Animas High School and from Colorado State University with a Bachelor in Music. She was the wife of Paul Patterson. They were married on May 4, 1997. She worked as a Cake Decorator at Wal-Mart La Junta, CO. She is survived by her husband and a daughter Carol Coates and her significant other Gerald Miller of Rocky Ford, CO; brother; Frank Barnett of La Junta, CO; 2 brother-in-laws: Jim Patterson and his wife Karleen of Manzanola and Willie and his wife Wendy of La Junta; and 9 grandchidlren. Memorial Service will be in the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home, Rocky Ford, CO, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 3rd, with Rev. John Dell officiating. At the family's request there will be no visitation as cremation has been effected. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Downs Syndrome Association.
