George Gallegos, Jr. of Rocky passed away at his home at the age of 67 on November 29, 2024. George was born in Rocky Ford to George and Bea Gallegos. George graduated for Rocky Ford High School. He worked at a lot of places over his life but he spent a lot of time with Ark Valley Seed. He loved his grandchildren very much and enjoyed spending time with them. He also liked to bake. He was a Broncos fan and liked to spend time with his friend, Richard McMilan.

George is survived by his daughter Julie (Geno) Ortega of Rocky Ford, 5 grandchildren: Marisa Ortega, Karina Ortega, Fabian Ortega, Damian Ortega, Lilyana Ortega, 2 sisters: Georgina (Carl) Meehan of Colorado Springs, Margaret (Urvin) Medina of Rocky Ford, 3 brothers: Frank (Hope) Gallegos, Sr. of Rocky Ford, Ed Gallegos of Colorado Springs, Jimmy Gallegos of Rocky Ford. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
