Georgetta Jones

Mrs. Georgetta May Jones, 91, of Ordway passed away on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2013 peacefully at Parkview Medical Center, Pueblo, CO. Georgetta was born in Garnett, KS on July 1, 1921, the daughter of the late George Adam and Mary May (Craycraft) Wells. She graduated from Garnett High School and recieved her Nursing Degree in Kansas City, KS. She was the widow of Samuel Charles Jones and he preceded her in death on July 17, 1985. Georgetta worked as a Teller at First National Bank and she also worked at the Chubbuck Ford Garage as a bookkeeper both in Ordway. She was a member of Ordway United Methodist Church Ordway, CO. She was a past member of the UMW and the Bridge Club. She is survived by; Daughter Marietta Mangini of Pueblo, CO; Granddaughter Sandy Anselmo (Kenny Hernandes) of Pueblo, CO; Grandson Rocky (Lisa) Marino of Pueblo, CO; She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Georgetta was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Samuel; son: Calvin Jones; sister: Doris Ulses; 2 brothers: James & Clifford Wells. Funeral Services will be at the Ordway United Methodist Church, Ordway, CO, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 30th, with De Etta Goettel officiating. A Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10 AM until service time at the Ordway United Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery Ordway, CO.
