Georgia Maxine DuBois, 85, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Wednesday, October 2nd, while in the company of family members, at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center, La Junta. Georgia was born in La Junta, CO on April 17, 1928, a daughter of the late Freda (Ross) and George Henry Clark. She graduated from La Junta High School. She was the wife of Joseph Harry DuBois. They were married in La Junta, CO, on Oct. 20, 1950. She retired as a telephone operator at Mountain Bell in La Junta, CO. She also worked as a Postmaster in Westport, CA and at the Holly Sugar Factory in Swink, CO. She is survived by her husband Joe of Rocky Ford, CO; Son Stephen, husband of Barbara DuBois, of Black Canyon City, AZ; Daughter Holly, wife of David Freeman, of Rocky Ford, CO; Grandson Marc, husband of Bethany DuBois, of Greeley, CO; Grandson Scott, husband of Stacy DuBois, of North Platte, NE; Granddaughter Rachael, wife of Jason Granado, of Owasso, OK; Grandson Joe, husband of Candy Durrett, of Sperry, OK. She is also survived by 6 Great-Grandchildren: Walker Granado, Zane & Kaitlyn Durrett, Jakub Silos, Lola & Kolin DuBois. Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 sisters: Lucille Langfeldt & Juanita Seal. Graveside Services will be at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Rocky Ford, CO, at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 5th, with Pastor Don Penner officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 9-11 AM at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Rocky Ford, CO.
