Gilbert (Mosca) Montanez, 61, of Rocky Ford, CO, passed away Monday, February 16th, peacefully, at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center, La Junta. Gilbert was born in Rocky Ford, CO on December 29, 1953, a son of the late Lucy (Montanez) Montanez and Unknown . He worked in Mason Worker A Rosary Service will be at 10:30 AM Friday at St. Peters Catholic Church.Memorial with a Mass to be celebrated at at St. Peters Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 27th, with Fr. Paul Ekeh officiating. There will be no viewing as cremation has been effected. Inurnment will be private at a later time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ford-Ustick Funeral Home.
